Tigers Bite Hurts Falcons

The 2019 Season Opener for Townies was billed to be a challenge. Up against an exuberant Derby Tigers coming of two seasons of stellar form, Townies blend of youth and seasoned campaigners were always going to be challenged. 

Despite the scoreline showing a six goal win to the Tigers, what can be drawn from the game for Towns was the teams capacity to kick ten goals of their own. Towns has struggled for a number of seasons to really fill the scoreboard.

The coach Liam Bedford and his chargers at Towns, should seek to soak up the positives from this game and to refine their team play as a number of new members learn the playing styles of their team mates.
